Francesca has accrued a skillset that spans over 21 years of experience in family law, with a particular focus on high net worth divorce and financial remedies, alongside wealth protection.
Francesca’s caseload frequently comprises complex financial work with an international element. Francesca has advised on forum non-conveniens disputes, nullity petitions, non-marriage cases, third party interests, the division of business assets, schedule 1 applications, interim maintenance, legal costs allowances and properties/ assets located overseas. Francesca has routinely advised on post-separation accrual and deferred compensation (LTIPS and carry), and is an expert at crafting pre and post nuptial agreements.
Francesca also has significant experience in children law including fact-finding hearings, parental alienation and applications for permission to permanently remove a child from the jurisdiction.
Francesca returned to McGrath Tonner in 2025, having spent 5 years previously working for the firm as a family attorney between 2008 and 2013. She left in 2013 when she returned to independent private practice at the bar in London, England, where she joined a Tier 1 Chamber & Partners and Legal 500 ranked chambers and remains an Associate Tenant.
