Reece’s practice focuses on contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring, and commercial litigation matters.
Reece regularly acts for insolvency practitioners, banks and other financial institutions, litigation funders, companies, partnerships, directors, shareholders and individuals.
Prior to joining McGrath Tonner, Reece practiced at Brabners LLP in the UK as an Insolvency & Restructuring solicitor.

WORK HIGHLIGHTS
- Advising a Cayman Islands fund on its successful defence of a winding up petition based on an alleged multi-million-euro debt arising under a contract governed by German law.
- Advising a significant minority stakeholder of an oil exploration company regarding a claim for minority shareholder oppression and subsequent assistance with a corporate restructuring and exit.
- Advising minority stakeholders following the application by the joint provisional liquidators of a PRC based blood stem cell storage company for the Court’s approval of the terms and amount of the JPLs fees.
