Kirsty specialises in all aspects of family law, including separation and divorce, matrimonial finance, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, children disputes and injunctions. Kirsty has dealt with many ex-pat divorces and specialises in the law relating to the removal of children from the Jurisdiction.
Kirsty regularly deals with high net worth divorce matters with an international element. Many of her cases involve trust issues and jurisdictional challenges. She acts in child relocation applications and child abduction proceedings.
Kirsty holds a Masters Degree in International Legal Practice (with electives in Private Client, Business and Finance Management and International Commercial Law).
Kirsty is a member of the Cayman Islands Family Law Bar Association.
Prior to moving to the Cayman Islands, Kirsty was a solicitor in private practice in England. She has worked exclusively in the field of Family Law for over 12 years. Prior to relocating, she was leading a team of lawyers renowned for its work in complex international children cases. Kirsty is a member of the Child Abduction Lawyers Association and Resolution Society. Kirsty also lectured at BPP Law School and The Law Acadamy.
