ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
We are seeking a professional and personable Administrative Assistant to join our team at McGrath Tonner. This position is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors to the office in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate parties with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for the attorneys and staff members.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and common areas.
- Provide basic technical support for office equipment such as printers, copiers, and phones.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the firm.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
